Sierra Klingele
Sierra is a composer and vocalist
with origins in the high desert of Prosser, Washington
in the Pacific Northwestern United States.
She is devoted to the production and performance of music
as a powerful storytelling craft. She has experience scoring choreographed and improvised dance, as well as theater and performance art. Her film music repertoire spans works of fiction, documentary and animation, and has been selected by international film festivals including the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film 2026, Fastnet Film Festival 2026, and Sehsüchte International Student Film Festival.
In 2015, she received her B.A. Music Composition from
Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA where her studies focused heavily on alternate musical tuning systems, experimental electronic music and scoring original music to choreographed dance.
Sierra Klingele currently resides in Berlin, Germany, where she maintains composition and performance practices. She is currently pursuing the Film Music M.A. at the Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF in Potsdam, Germany.
